You can work on your own painting by painting along with the demo at your own pace, using the reference photos provided. Or use your own photos and apply the tips and techniques you have just learned. If you would like feedback you have the option of sending me a photo of your painting for assessment, or if you need help to complete it. Further online mentoring is also available.
With over twenty five years of teaching in both watercolours and acrylics, I know how to present the material in a way that can be understood and successfully applied by my students. Again and again students have confirmed the effectiveness of my workshops:
“Marianne Broome is our most sought after Art Instructor in watercolour and acrylic. She is a master at her craft and is gifted with the ability to engage and inspire her students to create beyond their own boundaries. Marianne’s classes are filled with return students who praise her abilities as a skilled artist and a talented instructor.”
Lezley Davidson, Curry’s Art Supplies
“What a great way to spend a few hours watching you live on Youtube from the comfort of my home, and learning a ton of new things! I love that I can actively participate by typing in questions online, which are answered as best as time permits. You have made this workshop so inspirational and worth every minute spent online! It is easy, fast and works”! Helen T
Each online workshop provides 2 to 3 hours of quality art instruction. More in depth subject matter is split into two or more classes. The level of instruction is varied, with some aimed as an introduction to a topic and others geared to more experienced painters.
You will be looking over my shoulder as I think out loud and explain what I am doing for each stage of the demonstration. The discussion and demonstration will cover all aspects of the process.
