ABOUT FINE ART GICLEE REPRODUCTIONS
Giclée reproductions are museum quality fine art prints. Images are generated from a high-resolution digital scan of the original painting and printed with archival quality inks onto fine art canvas or paper. They have the look and feel of the original artwork and provide better colour accuracy and longevity than other means of colour reproduction. They will resist fading for generations.
The Giclée printing process is used to produce high resolution, incredibly detailed prints for museums, art galleries and photographic galleries. Numerous examples of Giclée prints can be found for example in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and the Chelsea Galleries.
These Giclée reproductions on canvas are treated with a UV and water resistant coating. However, as with any work of art, they should not be displayed in direct sunlight or near a direct source of heat.
Each limited edition Giclée print is numbered and individually signed by the artist. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity from the printing house.
